Getting "My Work" Done

The My Work page displays a list of all the items that are currently assigned to you. Typically, each line item will require some action from you. To access the My Work page, click the My Work link from the Left Navigation bar, or select My Work from the Top Navigation bar.

The My Work page displays the following sections:

Reminders section: shows items that need to be completed.
Open Work Items section: shows the name of open item, type of item, project name, current and actual dates for start and completion, etc. for each item.
My Projects section: displays the status of all projects and includes the status of the current project phase.

Some of the items you will see for each initiative are:

Ideas

If you have Idea approval or routing privileges, you will see a list of ideas waiting for approval or routing. It also displays the ideas that are assigned to you.

Proposal

If you have proposal approval privileges you will see proposals requiring approval.
If you have proposal sign off responsibilities, you will see a link to the proposal sign off request.

If you have submitted a proposal you will see all the proposals you have submitted.

Open Work Items

If you have tasks and activities assigned to you on any projects, each of these will be listed in the Open Work Items section of the My Work page.

You can view the details of a particular task or activity by clicking on its description. This will take you to the project specific information for that particular task or activity.

Financial Validation

If you are a user who is required to validate certain financial data, these will be listed in the Finances section of the My Work page.
Click the appropriate item to be taken to the Validation tab within Project Finances for that particular project. From this tab you can validate financial data.

Issues

If you have issues assigned to you on any projects, each of these will be listed in the Issues section of the My Work page.
You can view the details of a particular issue by clicking on its description. When an issue is assigned to you, you will also receive a notification at the email address associated with you in the system.

Timesheets

The timesheets that require your approval are displayed in this section.

Pending Approvals: Allocations

The resource allocations that require your approval are displayed in this section.

Status Reports

The status reports requiring your approval are displayed in this section.

Click the name of the status report to access its details.
Click the Approve button to approve the report.
Click the Reject button to reject it and send it back to the user who submitted it.

If a report you have submitted has been rejected, it will be displayed in this section.

Click the name of the Status Report to access its details.
Make the necessary changes and click the Submit for Approval button.
