Room Availability

Rooms Availability provides a comprehensive view of available and sold rooms in the hotel across 14-day periods. You can use it for monitoring and forecasting inventory.

You can query availability for both the House level and Room Type Level. The House level shows the number of canceled reservations. Certain availability numbers provide links to more detailed information or the ability to set available rooms.

Rooms Availability also provides information on inventory that is below and within allowable limits for a certain option and date.

Available Rooms

Rooms Available to sell (Physical Rooms - Rooms Sold - Out of Order + Sell Limit*).

Available Rooms with Tentative

Rooms Available to sell (Physical Rooms - Rooms Sold - Out of Order + Sell Limit* - Tentative Rooms Sold).

Rooms Sold

Number of Definite Rooms Sold (actual number of Rooms Sold in Definite (Deduct) status).

Tentative Rooms Sold

Number of Tentative rooms sold (actual number of Rooms Sold in Tentative (Non-deduct) status).

Cancelled

Cancelled Reservations (number of Arrival Reservations Cancelled for that date).

Occupancy %

Forecast Occupied Rooms (Rooms Sold / (Physical Rooms - Out of Order + Sell Limit*) x 100).

Occupancy with Tentative %

Forecast Occupied Rooms (Rooms Sold + Tentative Rooms Sold) / (Physical Rooms - Out Of Order + Sell Limit*) x 100).

Availability %

Forecast Available Rooms ((Available Rooms / (Physical Rooms - Out Of Order + Sell Limit*) x 100).

Availability with Tentative %

Forecast Available Rooms (Available Rooms - Tentative Rooms Sold) / (Physical Rooms - Out Of Order + Sell Limit*) x 100).

Physical Rooms

Physical number of rooms configured for the property (actual number of Physical rooms configured for the property).

Out of Order Rooms

Number of rooms set to Out of Order status (actual number of rooms set to Out of Order).

Sell Limit Rooms

Number of rooms with a set Sell Limit (number of rooms that increase (overbook, positive sell limit) or decrease (under book, negative sell limit*) the allowable rooms available to sell).

Restrictions

A flag indicates that one or more restrictions exist for this date (flags appear at the property level only).

* If the Sell Limit is negative, then subtract it in the equation. For example, if the Physical rooms is 155 and the Sell Limit is -8, then the calculation for Physical rooms + Sell Limit would be 155 - 8.
