Keyword Types

Path: From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Profile Management, and then select Keyword Types

Rules: You can enter up to 8 letters and/or numbers when setting up new keyword types. Descriptions can be up to 40 letters and/or numbers.

Prerequisites: None.

Keyword Types are used to define common words or acronyms that may be attached to a profile (individual, company, agent, or source). The keyword field appears on the profile screen if the Profile Keywords application function is set to Y. Keywords may include corporate identification numbers, ticker symbols, and other information. This field can be used to filter or report information.

To add new keyword types:

  1. Click New.

  2. Enter a keyword code and description, and set an optional sequence.

  3. Click Manage Translations to add or update keyword code and description translations.

  4. Select Copy to Subsidiary Profile to include this keyword code in subsidiary properties.

  5. Click Save to save and exit, or Save and Continue to save this keyword type and add another.
