Source Codes

Path: From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Marketing Management, and then select Source Codes

Rules: You can enter up to 8 letters and/or numbers when setting up new Source Codes.

Prerequisites: None.

OPERA allows you to track reservations by source. Source refers to where the reservation came from, such as directly from the guest, via an agent, through a wholesaler, or from the central reservation system.

To add new source codes:

1. Select the Template tab.

2. Click New

3. Enter the Source Code, the Source Group, and a Description of the code. Enter a Sequence by entering a number in the field, or using the plus and minus buttons, and (if applicable) mark the new code as Inactive.

4. Click Save to save and exit, or Save and Continue to save and add another new source code.
