Tracking Parcels, Baggage, Valet, and Lost Items

Track It provides the ability to track and manage parcels, baggage, valet service, and lost items. After creating a Track It record, you can update the status as items are delivered, returned, or found.

Note:

For this feature to be available, the Track It parameter under the General group in OPERA Controls must be active.

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Miscellaneous, select Miscellaneous, select Track It, and then select New.
  2. Select Parcel, Valet, Baggage, or Lost.
  3. Select or enter a property name, ticket number, and action.
  4. Add a description, quantity, location, action date, and assign the record to a staff member, if needed.
  5. Select Attach Reservation and search for the guest associated with the record.
  6. Select the reservation, click Select Reservation, and then click Save.
