Creating Membership Tiers / Levels

After the membership type is created, you can set up tiers for the membership. Before you can set up tiers, the membership must have points centrally managed and must be the primary membership type.
  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Membership Management, and select Membership Types.
  2. Select your primary membership type and click Edit.
  3. Click Levels under Membership Type Overview.
  4. Click New, complete the necessary fields, and click Save.
    Rank: The numeric sequence of the level when it appears on screens. During upgrade/downgrade batch processing, these ranks represent the relative position of the membership levels. For this reason, assign ranks in numerical order corresponding to the hierarchical position of the level. The highest rank should be assigned 1, the next lower rank should be 2, and the next lower rank should be 3.
    Max. Downgrade Level: The lowest level to which this level can be downgraded.
    VIP: The VIP level to link to this tier. A membership level can be linked to a VIP level to enable membership promotions to guests with the VIP level.
    Display Color: The color to represent the membership level. When viewing membership information, the membership level appears in the selected color.
