Price Change (Regular)

RPM uses the “regprcchgcre” message type to communicate the price change approval. The “regprcchgmod” message type is used to communicate the modification of a new retail price of an approved price change. This change is a result of another price event’s retail affects an approved price change. When an approved price change is unapproved, RPM will send the message with the “regprcchgdel” message type. These messages are published at a transaction item/location level.

SIM subscribes to these regular price change messages. In some cases SIM already has this information when the regular price changes. In that case SIM will override the existing records.

Only one regular price change can be in effect at one time in SIM.
