Items – (Inbound to RMS)

When a legacy system is the system of record for item definitions, these externally generated items must be interfaced into RMS. RMS provides an API for obtaining this information via the RIB. Create, modify, and delete message types are defined for the API to initiate the database processes associated with these message types.
