Return to Vendor (RTV – Inbound to RMS)

RTV information will be published by the external system and placed on the Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB). RMS will subscribe to the RTV information as published from the RIB and place the information onto RMS tables depending on the validity of the records enclosed within the message.

SIM uses this message structure to notify RMS that an RTV has been shipped. The creation of the RTV in SIM means that the message will create in RMS and  RTV and ship it.

The RTV message is a hierarchical message. If the item table node is null, one item can be processed at the RTV header level.
