INTERFACE ID

IB20 - Work Order Inbound

SOURCE

RMS

DESTINATIONS

RWMS

INTEGRATION STYLE

Asynchronous  – Unidirectional

DESCRIPTION

RMS publishes work order messages. A work order provides direction to RWMS about work that needs to be completed on items contained in a recent purchase order. RMS publishes new work order messages soon after it publishes the purchase order message. RMS also publishes modified work orders.

Work orders are defined at the physical location level. The message family manager sends the warehouse at which the work order will be done. This is used by the RIB publication adaptor for routing messages to the appropriate warehouse.
