IB25 - Inventory Adjustments

SOURCE

DESTINATIONS

RMS

INTEGRATION STYLE

Asynchronous  – Unidirectional

DESCRIPTION

RWMS and Store systems publish inventory adjustment data in messages to the RIB. The data in the messages include disposition codes for quantities of items for one location. RMS subscribes to these messages in order to:

·         adjust overall quantities of stock on hand for an item at a location.

·         adjust the availability of item-location quantities.

RWMS and Store systems send messages that may contain disposition change values. RMS processes only disposition changes that may alter an item’s inventory status between available or unavailable. In addition, if one disposition value is null, RMS treats this as an addition to or subtraction from overall stock on hand for the item.
