RWMS51 – Transfer

Description |
For orders that will be fulfilled from a warehouse, the receipt of a customer order in RMS should create a transfer from that warehouse to the virtual store that will be credited for the sale, which will reserve inventory. RMS will send the transfer created to the warehouse, including the customer order number and customer information, such as address and shipping method. For orders that will be sourced from a warehouse and fulfilled from a store or sourced from a store that is not the fulfilling store, the customer order should be sent from OOC/OMS to RMS. When RMS receives this information, it should create a transfer to reserve inventory. RMS will send the transfer created to the warehouse and store for execution, including the customer order number. |
