Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Services (RICS)

New in V16.0.21

The Retail Integration Cloud Services is a SaaS Cloud deployment of the full Enterprise Integration Products and out-of-box GA application integration flows.

With release 16.0.21 new functionality has been added to some of the Integration Products to round out the integration styles and available flows to support customers of the RICS SaaS offering.

All of the integration syles and products supported (RIB, RSB, BDI) are not only deployed in the SaaS Cloud, but are accessable to On-Premise and other cloud applications through service APIs.

Retail Integration Cloud Services RICS) is a SaaS offering, so it assumes and supports hybrid cloud  topologies; cloud-to-cloud and prem-to-cloud.

V16.0.21 includes support for on-prem SIM. SIM 16.0.0 contained the code to support  connecting to an enhanced RIBforSIM deployed to the cloud.

RSB and BDI in V16.0.0 are fully cloud ready out-of-box.

The RIB has been enhanced in V 16.0.21 by adding additional web services within a new RIB component call RIB-EXT.  In a hybrid cloud scenario customers will not have access to RIB’s JMS server. The RIB-EXT app is designed to fill that gap by exposing customer facing SOAP Web Service APIs to RIB-EXT that then publishes and subscribes to RIB’s JMS..
