About Embedding Reports and Dashboards in Oracle CRM On DemandThis topic describes the contents of the V2 and V3 catalogs for reports and dashboards, and explains where you can embed the various reports and dashboards in Oracle CRM On Demand. About the V2 and V3 Catalogs for Reports and DashboardsStarting with Release 35, reports and dashboards are organized in two catalogs, as follows:
NOTE: Depending on how your company instance is set up, your company might not have access to the Analytics tab or to the V3 catalog. Where Can Reports and Dashboards Be Embedded in Oracle CRM On Demand?You can embed reports from the V2 catalog in My Homepage and in record-type Homepages, using the Homepage Custom Report features. For more information, see Enabling Custom Reports in My Homepage and Creating Homepage Custom Reports. NOTE: It is possible to use a URL to embed a report or dashboard from the V2 catalog in a custom Web applet, Web tab, or Web link of the URL type. However, this functionality is not fully supported, and the link might not work after an upgrade. You can embed reports from the V3 catalog in any of the following locations:

NOTE: To embed a report or dashboard from the V3 catalog, the report or dashboard must be stored under Shared Folders, and you must have access to the folder where the report or dashboard is located. |
