The TimelineSeries component is a direct child of the Timeline component. A Timeline can have at most two TimelineSeries. Each TimelineSeries displays a list of events along the start and end time specified in the Timeline. The TimelineSeries component must be placed inside of a Timeline component.
The TimelineSeries component can have the following children: <af:dragSource>, <af:dropTarget>, <af:clientListener>, <dvt:timelineItem>,
The TimelineSeries component uses a model to access data from the underlying source. The specific model class to use is org.apache.myfaces.model.CollectionModel
. You may also use other model instances, e.g., java.util.List, array, and javax.faces.model.DataModel. The TimelineSeries will automatically convert the instance into a CollectionModel.
The TimelineSeries component can act as a drag source or drop target against other ADF collection components such as Table. Please see the documentation for <af:dragSource>
and <af:dropTarget>
.
Any dimension related CSS styles have not effect in the TimelineSeries. The size of the TimelineSeries is determined by the size of the Timeline and the number of TimelineSeries are associated with a Timeline.

If one of the trigger components receives an event that will cause it to update in some way, this component will request to be updated too. Identifiers are relative to the source component, and must account for NamingContainers. If your component is already inside of a naming container, you can use a single colon to start the search from the root, or multiple colons to move up through the NamingContainers - "::" will search from the parent naming container, ":::" will search from the grandparent naming container, etc. |
