The image shows the Network Information window The left side of the window shows the stage of configuration steps that you are on. You can click stage names for the window before and the window after the stage that you are on to proceed to that window. The current page name is displayed in bold font. The Help, Back, Next, Install, and Cancel buttons are at the bottom of the page. All of these buttons are active, except for the Install button. You cannot click Install because you have not provided all the information that the Configurator requires.

The main body of the page contains the following input fields:

Domain Name. This is a text field in which you enter the domain name for the public network to which Oracle Database Appliance is attached. In this example, the name of the domain entered is mydomain.example.com.

DNS Servers. This is a set of three text fields in a row in which you enter the IP addresses of the DNS servers that you want to use on your network. In this example, the value in the first box is 192.0.2.2, the value in the second box is 192.0.2.5, and the value in the third box is 192.0.2.4.

The next fields are the input fields for the public, virtual IP, single-client access name (SCAN) addresses, netmask and gateway. These input fields are displayed in table rows. In this screenshot, the fields are filled out as examples.

Row 1 is labeled Public. It contains the following text fields.

Row 2 is labeled VIP. It contains the following text fields

Row 3 is labeled SCAN. It contains the following text fields:

Row 4: this row has no label, but contains two fields, each with their own label.

When you have completed providing configuration information, click the Next button at the bottom of the window.
