Documaker Standard Edition Enhancements

Effective Date Management Support

Documaker 12.6 adds support for Effective Data Management in Documaker Studio. The Effective Date setting prevents users from having to change the system date to get a different view of the document resources within the Studio managers.

New Filter Icon

Starting in 12.6, the Field panel in Documaker Add-In for Microsoft Word will display a Filter icon when a Filters element is defined in the Workspace Definition File (wdf.xml). This filter allows you to filter fields based on their Search Tags in the Workspace Definition File. A Search Tag setting has been added to the Create/Edit field dialog in Documaker Add-In for Microsoft Word.

Comparison Tool includes DAL comparison capability

Starting in 12.6, Documaker extends the Documaker Studio comparison tool introduced in Release 12.5 to Document Automation Language (DAL) library resources. This comparison helps to determine where differences occur between two different DAL resources or between different versions or revisions of a DAL resource.
