Siebel eScript Language Reference > Methods Reference > Mathematical Methods > Get Arctangent MethodThe Get Arctangent method returns an approximate arctangent of the value that the number argument contains, expressed in radians and ranging from negative pi/2 through pi/2. This method assumes the value that the number argument contains is the ratio of the following sides of a right triangle:

The Get Arctangent method returns the angle in radians. To convert the value to degrees, it multiplies it by 180/PI.
