Bug 25474039 – LANGUAGE PACK TRANSLATION FOR OFS CIRPA - CANADIAN FRENCH
This one off patch will apply the Language Pack translation for Canadian French Language.
· Oracle Financial Services PFT Pack 8.0.3.0.0
· OFS AAI LP 8.0.3.0.0.
To apply this patch, do the following:
1. Copy/FTP the zip file " 25474039_GENERIC.zip" in BINARY mode, to a temporary folder on the server where OFSAAI is installed.
2. Extract the contents of the zip file using the "unzip -a 25474039_GENERIC.zip" command. This will create a folder by the name OFS_PFT.
Note: In case of a multi-tier installation of OFSAAI, patch needs to be executed on the DB tier.
3. Go to "./OFS_PFT/conf" and update 'params.conf' file with appropriate values for UPLOAD_MODEL=0.
4. Provide RWX permissions to the shell script "./OFS_PFT/bin/install.sh"
5. Execute install.sh
6. Check the log file OFS_PFT_patch_installation.log¯ present under "./OFS_PFT/logs" in patch, to see if the patch is applied successfully.
1. Go to "./OFS_PFT/bin/patchfiles/CaptionsXML",copy " retail+performancecaptions.xml" file.
2. Navigate to the OBIEE folder : $ORACLE_INSTANCE/bifoundation/OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent/$COMPONENT_NAME/msgdb/
3. Create a folder structure in the following manner:
/msgdb/l_ar/captions
4. Place the " retail+performancecaptions.xml" corresponding to Canadian French Language in the “captions” folder in the above folder structure.
5. Restart Presentation Services in Enterprises Manager and login to analytics by selecting the language as Canadian French.
6. Verify that the captions are translated in the Dashboard Reports.
