Bug 29958043 – Language Translation for JAPANESE-JAPAN (JA_JP)
This one-off patch will apply the Language Pack translation for Japanese Language.
· Oracle Financial Services Profitability (PFT) Application Pack 8.0.7.2.0
· AAI LP 8.0.7.2.0
· OBIEE Version: Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.4.0
1. Copy/FTP the zip file 29958043_GENERIC.zip in BINARY mode to a temporary folder on the server where OFSAAI is installed.
Extract the cotents of the zip file using the unzip -a 29958043_GENERIC.zip command. This will create a folder by the name OFS_PFT.
Note: In case of multi-tier installation of OFSAAI, patch needs to be executed on the DB tier.
2. Go to "./OFS_PFT/conf" and update 'params.conf' file with appropriate values for UPLOAD_MODEL=0.
3. Provide RWX permissions to the shell script "./OFS_PFT/bin/install.sh"
4. Execute install.sh
5. Check the log file OFS_PFT_patch_installation.log¯ present under "./OFS_PFT/logs" in patch, to see if the patch is applied successfully.
1. Go to "./OFS_PFT/bin/patchfiles/CaptionsXML",copy "bspcaptions.xml","financial+reportingcaptions.xml","management+reportingcaptions.xml" files.
2. Navigate to the OBIEE folder: $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/bi/bidata/service_instances/ssi/metadata/content/msgdb
3. Create a folder structure in the following manner:
/l_es/captions
4. Place the following files "bspcaptions.xml","financial+reportingcaptions.xml","management+reportingcaptions.xml" corresponding to Spanish Language in the “captions” folder in the above folder structure.
5. Restart OBIEE servers and login to analytics by selecting the language as Japanese.
6. Verify that the captions are translated in the Dashboard Reports.
