Enabling Modification Tracking
Modification tracking must be enabled in Oracle CRM On Demand so that invitees can be successfully added or removed from appointments. To enable modification tracking
- In Oracle CRM On Demand, click Admin (in the upper-right corner).
- Click User Management and Access Controls, then Role Management.
- For each role that affects your users, do the following:
- Click Edit next to the role.
- Navigate to Step 2 - Record Type Access.
- Select the check box in the Has Access column for the Modification Tracking object.
- Click Finish.
- Click Back to User Management and Access Controls.
- Click Access Profiles.
- For each access profile that affects your users, do the following:
- Click Edit next to the access profile.
- Navigate to Step 2 - Specify Access Levels.
- For the Modification Tracking object use the drop-down menu to set the access level to Read/Edit/Delete.
- Click Finish.
- Click Back to User Management and Access Controls.
- Click Back to Admin Homepage.
- In the Business Process Management section, click Enable Modification Tracking.
- Select the check boxes for the following record types:
- Activity
- Activity User
- Contact
- Position
- User
- Click Back to Admin Homepage.
