Deleting a group

Note:

The system does not allow any user to delete a predefined group provided during installation. See Pre-defined user and group for more information on this topic.

Use this procedure to delete a group:

  1. Click Administration > Access Groups > Groups.
  2. Select the desired group from the Groups administration page and take note of any users presented in the Users pane.

    Note:

    The Users pane lists all users associated with the group. If there are users associated with the group, you must delete the users or assign them to another group before deleting the group. See Changing a user's assigned group.
  3. Once all users have been cleared from the Users pane click Delete.
  4. Click OK to delete the group.
    A status box displays the results of the action.
The group is removed from the database.
