Configuring the SPR Connection

You must define the operation mode and connection details for the SPR database before you can look up subscriber information from the CMP system.

To configure the SPR connection:

From the SPR section of the navigation pane, select Configuration.
The SPR Connection Configuration page opens in the work area, displaying connection information.
On the SPR Connection Configuration page, click Modify.
The Configuration page opens.
Enter information as appropriate for the SPR system:
1. SPR Operation Mode (required) —Select from the list:
  - SDM RESTful API (default)
2. Remote Port—Enter the port (a number from 1 to 65535) to listen on for SPR traffic.
  The default port is 8787.
3. Secure Connection—Select to establish a secure connection.
4. SDM Profile Fields—Defines the custom fields for the SDM profile.
  Enter the field name in the field and click Add. To remove a field from the list, select the field and click Delete.
5. SDM Pool Fields—Defines the custom fields for the SDM pool.
  Enter the field name in the field and click Add. To remove a field from the list, select the field and click Delete.
Click Save.

The SPR connection is configured.
