Creating a Tender to End the Current Service Round of Checks

You can configure the following two types of service total tenders that are commonly used in restaurants to end the current service round of guest checks:
  • Service total tenders that send menu items to order devices

  • Service total tenders that send menu items to order devices and print the guest check

  1. To have the tender send menu items to order devices:
    1. Select the Enterprise or property, click Configuration, and then click Tender/Media.
    2. Insert a new record, enter a name for the new tender record (for example, Send), and then double-click the new tender record.
    3. From the Key Type drop-down list, select Service Total.
    4. Click Menu Levels, and then select all main and sub menu levels.
    5. Click Save.
  2. To have the tender send menu items to order devices and print the guest check:
    1. Select the Enterprise or property, click Configuration and Tender/Media.
    2. Insert a new record, enter a name for the new tender record (for example, Print), and double-click the new tender record.
    3. From the Key Type drop-down list, select Service Total.
    4. Click Options and Printing Options.
    5. Select the following options:
      • 13 - Print Memo Check

      • 23 - Print Check on Demand

      • 21 - Print Summary Totals

      • 20 - Print Sales Itemizers

    6. Click Menu Levels and select all main and sub menu levels.
    7. Click Save.
