Configuring POS Synchronization

You must have POS Sync privileges to configure POS Synchronization. If you have the Client Administrator or the Store Manager roles, you automatically have POS Sync privileges. If you have a different role, you need to manually add the POS Sync privilege.

Complete the following tasks in each store to configure POS Synchronization:
  • Select the POS Extension (POSEX) Provider.

  • Define the ExtensionServiceUrl value unique for each customer.

  • Define the key value pairs (KVPs) for the POS in each store.

  • Import the menu items into the master store.

  • Set up stores to configure your menus. You can manage menus and menu items using stores. Synchronizing One Menu and Synchronizing Multiple Menus contain more information.

  • Assign menu items to a menu.
