OFS Sanctions Application Pack 8.0.8.0.0 Release (Bug ID - 30503763).

This release of OFS Sanctions is cumulative of enhancements and bug fixes done for Transactions Filtering (TF) and Customer Screening (CS) since the previous version.

The following are the key features of TF 8.0.8.0.0:

• Custom Format Screening with UTF-8 Support: In 8.0.8, customer can screen custom messages through custom SWIFT formats. These custom SWIFT formats are UTF-8 enabled.
• BIC Screening against watch list: In 8.0.8, BIC matching web-service screens BIC against BICs present in different watch lists, for example, DJW Watch list, OFAC and so on.
• Different Time Zone Support for Different Jurisdiction in Single Instance: Customer can set-up different time zones for each user then user interface will show the data in that time zone according to the user preference set-up.
• Migration Utilities for Custom Workflows: Customer can define their custom workflows for investigation purpose and these workflows can be maintained using migration utility which will allow to export the workflow then import it back.
• Delta Handling for Dow Jones watch list: Due to the time at which the Dow Jones data is available, in Asia Pacific the window for preparing the watch list for real-time screening is very short. To improve this in 8.0.8 Dow Jones processing has been moved to the database instead of .jmp files which allows the initial or periodic running of a full data file and then the handling of daily delta files.
• UI Enhancement: Some of investigation UI search and sorting features have been enhanced to include the following:
• Sorting feature
• Bulk action at match review level
• Enhanced search feature
• Originator account and beneficiary account
• By origin or destination country
• Match rule
• Risk Rule

 

The following are the key features of CS 8.0.8.0.0:

• Name Alias Support For Third Party Events: In 8.0.8, Customers who load events from third party sources and not directly for Oracle Financial Services Customer Screening will be able to leverage the name alias functionality. Additional name matches are displayed in case management as part of the match details for the event and the customer name record and watch list alias it matches to can be seen. All customer alias information is shown with the customer details.
• Transliteration for Real-time Screening: In 8.0.8, transliteration of non-Latin script names is available for real-time without the need for customization.

• Integration with KYC: Oracle Financial Service Know Your Customer uses the Oracle Financial Services Customer Screening REST API. Changes were made in 8.0.8 which link the KYC and CS cases in ECM and allow searching by a supplied identifier such as applicant id or social security number.
• Delta Handling for Dow Jones watch list: Due to the times at which the Dow Jones data is available, in Asia Pacific the window for preparing the watch list for real-time screening is very short. To improve this in 8.0.8 Dow Jones processing has been moved to the database instead of .jmp files which allows the initial or periodic running of a full data file and then the handling of daily delta files.
• Case Investigation: In 8.0.8 Customer Screening supports multiple event decisions values, rather than just ‘True Positive’ and ‘False Positive’ in line with the equivalent functionality for Anti-Money Laundering Cases. Print PDF functionality has also been added for Customer Screening case types.
