Configuring Classification Fields, Resource Pulldown Values and Alignment Pulldown Values

Creating Classification Fields, Resource, and Alignment Pull Down Values

  1. Click the Application Configuration tab.
  2. In the Classification Fields, Resource Pulldown Values, or Alignment Pulldown Values section, select the type of field you want to create.
  3. You will see a list of the existing values for that category. For example, if you chose Functional Area, you will see a list of the functional areas that have already been defined in the system.
  4. Click the Create a New Functional Area button.
  5. Select the Bulk Insert checkbox to add multiple values at the same time.
  6. Enter a name for the value.
  7. Select the status (Valid, Archived or Invalid).
  8. Click Create.

Deleting Classification Fields and Resource Pulldown Values

  1. Click the Application Configuration tab.
  2. In the Classification Fields or Resource Pulldown Values section, select the type of field you want to delete. You will see a list of values configured for that category.
  3. Select a value.
  4. Click Delete.

Deleting Alignment Pulldown Values

  1. Click the Application Configuration tab.
  2. Select Alignment Type.You will see a list of the existing types.
  3. Click [Delete] next to the type you want to delete.

    Note: You can delete values only if they are not in use.
