Enabling or Disabling Privacy Features

When the Privacy & Security feature is enabled, all features and modules that may expose a user's PII are disabled. As an administrator, you can choose to enable these features for all users.

To enable privacy features:

  1. Select the Privacy Configuration tab.
  2. Select the Enable Privacy Settings Feature link.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the features you want to enable.
  4. Click Save.

Click the View History button to view details on all feature setting changes. You can download or print this information.

Feature or Module Name

Description

BI Data Export

Allow users to export data using BI Publisher.

Cron Job/Scheduled reports

Allow users to schedule cron jobs or reports.

Data Import/Export

Allow users to import or export data.

Export Feature for the treegrid on listing page

Allow users to export data from listing pages. The Export button on listing pages is enabled.

Integration (API)

Allow users to use integration APIs.

MSP Data Export

Allow users to export MSP data.

Reports

Allow users to generate reports. The Reports module is enabled.

Allow end user to export Profile data in CSV format

Allow users to export their profile data in CSV format from their My Profile page.

Display My Profile page to all users

Allow users to access their My Profile page even if they do not have the required navigation permission to view their profile.

Editing of mandatory My Profile data

Allow users to access and edit the required fields on their My Profile page. If this feature is disabled, users with the Create/Modify Resource permission can continue to edit their profile.

Display Privacy Policy

Display the privacy policy as a link on the footer of the application.

Require Resource Consent

Require users to provide consent to the privacy policy before accessing the application. The consent notice will be displayed when users or administrators log in to the web application or the mobile application. To enable this feature, you must first configure the default web privacy policy, mobile consent notice, and the application administrator consent notices in English.

When this feature is enabled, users must consent to the use of their PII before they can be assigned to an idea, proposal, or project. The consent status for all existing users is changed to Consent Pending. As an administrator, you must provide your consent before you can enable this feature.
