Enabling the Privacy and Security Feature

When the Privacy and Security feature is enabled, the following features and modules that allow the import or export of PII data are disabled:

• Data export
• Cron job/scheduled reports
• Data import/export
• Export listing page content
• Integration APIs
• Microsoft Project (MSP) data export
• Reports

You can choose to enable one or more of these features or modules from the Privacy Feature Settings page. For more information, see topic Enabling or Disabling Privacy Feature Settings.

After you enable the privacy and security feature, the Privacy Configuration tab is displayed in the Administration console. The settings under this tab will allow you configure and manage your organization's privacy settings.

Notes:

• Ensure that you have read all the topics under Privacy Configuration to understand how enabling this feature could affect your application.
• This feature is available only when the application is in Production or UAT mode.
• Only the app_admin that was configured when the application was first downloaded can enable the privacy and security features.

To enable the Privacy and Security feature:

1. Select the Application Configuration tab.
2. Select the Privacy & Security Feature link.
3. Select the Enable checkbox.
4. Click Update.
