The Overview Screen

When you select a project, the Overview screen appears. It provides general information about the open project and tiles with information about its status and progress.

The status indicator, located near the name of the project, shows one of these possible values:

• Active: The project is currently active and being executed.
• Planned: The project is currently planned for execution. Project managers input expected project costs and other project data during this stage.
• Inactive: The project has been rendered inactive and will temporarily accrue no costs.

Also near the name of the project, you'll find a date progress bar. Its position is based on the project start date, its scheduled end date, and the current date.

Overview Tiles

The Overview screen shows information about the open project in these tiles:

• Task Progress: This tile shows how many completed, committed, and pending tasks are due last week, this week, and next week.
• Tasks by Company: This tile shows you how many complete and incomplete tasks remain for each company involved in the project. The total height of each bar in the chart represents all due tasks, and the filled in part of each bar represents completed tasks.
• Missed Task Commitments: A task commitment is an agreement by a task performer to complete the task by a specified date. On this tile, you can view all missed commitments on the project.
• Activities: Activities are the broad work assignments that contain tasks. This tile shows how many activities are scheduled to start, be in progress, or be completed last week, this week, and next week.
