Add an Attachment to a Task

When you need to add more information to a task you can utilize attachments using your mobile device. You can attach photos, video, or audio recordings from the jobsite to a task to convey additional information about the task.

To add an attachments to a task:

  1. Navigate to the Project Home screen.
  2. Tap the Work Plan tile, the Task List tile, or the My Tasks Clipboard Icon My Tasks tile.
  3. Select a task.
  4. Tap Add Attachment and tap on one of the following options:
    • Take Photo: Use your camera to take a photo.
    • Record Video: Use your camera to record a video.
    • Record Audio: Use your device to record an audio note.
    • Choose Existing: Select a photo or video from your camera roll. If you selected a photo, you can crop, rotate, add text, or draw on the image.
  5. Tap Done.
  6. (Optional) Tap Info to update the following attachment details:
    • Folder: The location where the file is stored. This cannot be changed.
    • Name: Change the name of the file.
    • Description: Add information about the attachment.

Tip

To view the file on the Task Details screen, tap Files. You can also view the file from the Files screen available from the Project Home screen.
