Add an Attachment to an Activity

When you need to add more information to an activity you can utilize attachments using your mobile device. You can attach photos, video, or audio recordings from the jobsite to an activity to convey additional information about the activity.

To add attachments to an activity:

1. Navigate to the Project Home screen.
2. Tap the My Activities tile.
3. On the Activities screen, select an activity.
4. Tap Add Attachment and tap on one of the following options:
   • Take Photo: Use your camera to take a photo.
   • Record Video: Use your camera to record a video.
   • Record Audio: Use your device to record an audio note.
   • Choose Existing: Select a photo or video from your camera roll. If you selected a photo, you can crop, rotate, add text, or draw on the image.
5. Tap Done.
6. (Optional) Tap Info to update the following attachment details:
   • Folder: The location where the file is stored. This cannot be changed.
   • Name: Change the name of the file.
   • Description: Add information about the attachment.

Tips

• To view the file on the Activity Details screen, tap Files. The list of file attachments associated with your activities is sorted alphabetically by file name. Each thumbnail displays an icon that indicates whether the file has been downloaded to your device and whether you have the most recent version of the file.
• You can also view the file from the Files screen by tapping the Files tile on the Project Home screen.
