SNMP
The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) allows you to monitor important system and health conditions for an Oracle® Enterprise Session Border Controller through an external network management (northbound) system, such as the Oracle Communications Session Delivery Manager or an SNMP manager. You can choose a SNMPv3, SNMPv2 and SNMPv1 or Secure Trap configuration to specify parameters, trap receivers, and syslog servers on your E-SBC so that it can be managed by your network management system.
SNMP supports IPv6 IP addresses in the trap receiver configuration, statistics, and within traps that use varbind data types (InetAddress and InetAddressType).
Note:
The configuration of SNMP is not essential for the baseline operation of the E-SBC.
