Validating Custom Layouts

To validate a custom layout:

1. Select PeopleTools, Mobile Application Platform, MAP Administration, Validate Custom Layout.

2. On the search page click Search to display a list of all Custom Layouts, or select a specific Custom Layout name.

3. Select the layout names to validate and click Validate.

4. If the validation is successful, you will get a message Successfully Validated. If the validation fails, you will get a message Failed Validation and a link to the layout in the Layout Designer. The error(s) will then be displayed, as validation gets performed by default for a Custom Type Layout when the Layout Designer is rendered.
