When OFSAA Data Foundation is hosted on Cloudera
Hive, DIH does not support External Data Sources of type XML. |
None |
29905766 |
For any specific XML file source (identified by name
and fully resolved path), post an initial data load, if data content is
altered and further data load attempted, DIH does not pick up the altered
data. If files are ASCII text or CSV types, in this scenario, DIH picks up
altered data. |
1.
Use separate files
(unique name and fully resolved path) instead of altering or over-writing
existing files that are processed. 2.
Re-start ODI Agent if
usage of the same file with altered or over-written data is unavoidable. Note
that, this is not recommended. |
29795186 |
For any specific XML file source (identified by name
and fully resolved path), post a failed data load attempt, subsequent data
load attempts will not proceed. This is because a lock on said file is not
released by XML driver instance used. |

While saving External Data Source details for Hive
data source type, post an initial failure upon Test Connectivity due to
incorrectly specified details, failure is subsequently prompted upon Test Connectivity
even when correct details are recorded. |
