ALERTS
An alert is a notification, about a certain event regular or one-off, that a bank’s users receive. Alerts could either be mandatory ones, from the bank or those subscribed to, by the users.
A bank’s alert system is designed to notify customers whenever certain events take place. The configured Email ID or the mobile number of the respective account holder is used to send an alert.
The alert message could be sent through:
- Email: alert sent as an email, to the customer’s registered email address
- SMS: alert sent as an SMS on the user’s mobile number
- On Screen Mailbox
The alert types are:
- Mandatory Alerts (Default Alerts)
The mandatory alerts are sent by the system and are not available for subscription. - Subscribed Alerts
The alerts that can be subscribed for and that are configured as on screen alerts, are displayed on the screen - in the Notifications widget on dashboard and in Mailbox - if they have been subscribed for, to be delivered either thought Email, SMS or both.
