Bug 26263935 - Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation Application Pack v8.0.4.1.0 One-off Patch Release #1 (8.0.4.1.1)

This release of OFS Data Foundation Application Pack is cumulative of all enhancements and bug fixes done since v8.0.4.1.0 release.

Prerequisite

The prerequisites for this one-off patch are:

1.     The minimum patch set level must be OFS Data Foundation Application Pack v8.0.4.1.0.

2.     OFSDF 8.0.4.1.1 needs additional attributes in the data model. Extend FSDF 8.0.4.1.0 data model with the following attribute. Ensure that the model upload is performed on FSDF 8.0.4.1.0 setup.

Note:  These columns will be regularized as part of OFSDF next available ML/IR Release.

How to Install This One-off Patch Release?

The steps to install the one-off patch are:

1.     Login to https://support.oracle.com/, and search for Bug# 26263935 under Patches and Updates tab. Please contact support for further information.

2.     Download 26263935_GENERIC.zip archive file, and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

3.     Shut down all the OFSAAI Services.

4.     Extract the contents of the patch archive file by using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be unzipped>

For example: unzip -a 26263935_GENERIC.zip

Note:  The above "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.
In case you notice an error message “unzip: not found [No such file or directory” before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator to resolve this issue.
For further details, refer to Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation Installation Manual Release 8.0.4.0.0 in OTN Documentation Library.

5.     Grant RWX (755) permissions for folder by executing the command:

chmod 755 OFS_BFND

6.     Navigate to the path:

<>/OFS_BFND/conf

7.     Update params.conf file with UPLOAD_MODEL parameter as 0.

8.     Navigate to the path:

<>/OFS_BFND/bin

9.     Execute the install command:

./install.sh

10.  Verify the patch installation logs in the path. Contact Oracle support in case of any errors.

11.  Generate the application EAR/WAR file and redeploy the application in the configured web application server. For further details, refer to Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation Installation Manual Release 8.0.4 in OTN Documentation Library.

12.  Restart all the OFSAAI services. For further details, refer to Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation Installation Manual Release 8.0.0.0.0 in OTN Documentation Library.
