Description

ID 31167654 – OFSDF v8.0.7.1.0 ONE-OFF PATCH RELEASE #7 (8.0.7.1.7)

These are the prerequisite software that must be installed for this patch:

· OFS AAAI Application Pack v8.0.7.3.0 ML Release (ID 30525124).

· The minimum patch set level of the OFS Data Foundation Application Pack v8.0.7.1.0 ML Release (ID 29327317).

To install this release, follow these steps:

1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for Patch ID 31167654 under the Patches and Updates tab.

1. Download the 31167654_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

2. Shut down all the OFSAAI services.

3. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be unzipped>

For example: unzip -a 31167654_GENERIC.zip

Note: The above "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.
If you notice an error message “unzip: not found [No such file or directory]” before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator to resolve this issue. For further details, refer to the OFS Data Foundation Application Pack Installation and Configuration Guide Release 8.0.7.0.0

4. Grant RWX (755) permissions to the OFS_BFND directory by executing the command:

chmod 755 OFS_BFND

5. Navigate to the path:

<>/OFS_BFND/conf

6. Update the UPLOAD_MODEL parameter value to 0 in the params.conf file to skip the model upload.

7. Navigate to the path:

<>/OFS_BFND/bin

8. Execute the install command:

./install.sh

9. Verify the patch installation logs in the following path and contact My Oracle Support if there are any errors:

<>/OFS_BFND/logs

10. Generate the application EAR/WAR file and redeploy the application in the configured web application server. For further details, see the OFS Data Foundation Application Pack Installation and Configuration Guide Release 8.0.7.0.0.

11. After successful deployment, restart all the OFSAAI services. For further details, see the section Starting/Stopping Infrastructure Services in the OFS AAI Application Pack Installation Guide Release 8.0.7.0.0.
