Authentication & Authorization

Admin Console provides secured access for users. Authentication will be provided by the server container or a container delegated provider. Authorization to Admin Console pages will be provided through a standardized container security pattern.

Security Roles and Access

Admin Console allows user access to specific pages through security roles. A user may be associated to multiple roles. All roles provide access to the dashboard. All elements on the dashboard may not be accessible or visible depending on the security role associated to a user. Admin Console supports the below types of users with these permissions:

• AC_Admin
  • Provides access to all admin console pages.

  • All elements on the dashboard and navigation links are visible and accessible.

• AC_Cycle
  • Provides access to the complete cycle page.
  • The Cycle element on the dashboard is visible and accessible.

  • The Complete Cycle page navigation is visible and accessible.

Login

Login will associate the user to the Admin Console pages to which the user has access by way of a Security Role. Every valid user can access to the Admin Console Home page / Dashboard.
