Description

OFS DM Application Pack v8.0.5.0.0 One-off Patch Release# 4 (8.0.5.1.4) (ID 29445998).

Prerequisite

The minimum patch set level should be OFS DM Application Pack v8.0.5.1.0 and OFS AAI 8.0.5.3.0.

How to Apply This One-Off Patch Release?

Perform the following steps to apply the one-off patch:

1.     Login to https://support.oracle.com/, and search for Bug# 29445998 under Patches and Updates tab.

2.     Download 29445998_GENERIC.zip archive file, and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

3.     Shut down all the OFSAAI Services.

4.     Extract the contents of the patch archive file by using the command:  unzip <name of the file to be unzipped>.

For example: unzip 29445998_GENERIC.zip

5.     Grant RWX (755) permissions for folder by executing command: chmod –R 755 29445998.

6.     The configuration file PatchConfig.xml must be updated before triggering the Installation. PatchConfig.xml file is available in the path <>/29445998/conf. For each application the segment value is different and the respective segment value has to be entered (replacing ##OFS_DGS_SEGMENT##) in the following tag in PatchConfig.xml.

7.     Navigate to the path: <>/29445998/bin

8.     Execute the command: ./install.sh

9.     Verify the patch installation logs in the location <>/29445998/logs. Contact Oracle support in case of any errors.
