Pre-installation
Requirements
The minimum patch set level must be OFS
DM Application Pack v8.0.7.0.4.
How to Install this
One-off Release?
Follow these steps to
install the one-off patch:
1. Login to https://support.oracle.com/,
and search for 30954914
under the Patches and Updates tab.
2.
Download the 30954914_GENERIC.zip archive file, and copy it to your OFSAA
server in Binary mode.
3.
Shut down all the OFSAAI
services.
4.
Extract the contents
of the patch archive file by using the command:
unzip -a <name of the file to
be unzipped>
For
example: unzip -a 30954914_GENERIC.zip
Note: The above "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.
In case you notice an error message “unzip: not found [No such file or
directory” before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator to
resolve this issue.
5.
Grant RWX (755)
permissions to the folder by executing the command:
chmod –R 755 OFS_DM
6.
Navigate to the path:
<>/OFS_DM/conf
7.
Update the
params.conf file with the Upload Model parameter as 0.
8.
Navigate to the path:
<>/OFS_DM/bin
9.
Execute the install
command:
./install.sh
10.
Verify the patch
installation logs in the path:
<>/OFS_DM/logs
11. After successful installation, restart all
the OFSAAI services.
