This One-off Patch is released for Data Governance qualification on US Fed Regulatory Reporting Release Version 8.0.9.4.0.

ID 31216211 - ONE-OFF PATCH FOR DATA MANAGEMENT v8.0.8.2.1

Pre-installation Requirements

The minimum patch set level must be OFS DM Application Pack v8.0.8.2.0.

How to Install this One-off Release?

The steps to install this one-off patch are as follows:

1.     Login to My Oracle Support, and search for 31216211 under the Patches and Updates tab.

2.     Download the 31216211_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

3.     Shut down all the OFSAAI services.

4.     Extract the contents of the patch archive file by using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be unzipped>

For example: unzip -a 31216211_GENERIC.zip

Note: The above "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.
In case you notice an error message “unzip: not found [No such file or directory” before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator to resolve this issue.

5.     Grant RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

Chmod -R 755 OFS_DM

6.     Navigate to the path:

<>/OFS_DM/conf

7.     Update the params.conf file with the Upload Model parameter as 0.

8.     Navigate to the path:

<>/OFS_DM/bin

9.     Execute the install command:

./install.sh

10.  Verify the patch installation logs in the path:

<>/OFS_DM/logs

11.  Login to Atomic Schema and execute the script dgs_post_install_script_80821.sql.

12.  Copy DGS.catalog and DGS.rpd files from <FIC_HOME>/DGSBI to your local machine and redeploy the DGS.catalog and DGS.rpd files.

 

NOTE	New tables are not added in RPD to define Opaque views.

13.  Execute the MERGE_FCT_KRI_DEF batch.

14.  Execute the FCT_KRI_DEF_UPDATE batch.

For more details, see the Updating Measures for Key Indicators section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Management Application Pack Installation Manual Release 8.0.8.2.0.

15.  Execute the KI_CONFIGURATION batch.

For more details, see the Key Indicator Configuration section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Management Application Pack Installation Manual Release 8.0.8.2.0.
