EIR List Log File Serviceability

When the file system reaches 80% of its total capacity, a minor alarm is raised. A major alarm is raised at 90%. All of the files in this partition are managed from Debug > Manage Logs & Backups.

EIR log entries are delivered to and stored on the MPS using a best effort approach.

Logs are retained in these conditions:

• One million records can be logged in 24 hours
• An hourly synchronization takes place from the MP to the active SOAM
• The active SOAM synchronizes the log with the standby SOAM for backup
• The log is retained for 5 days on the SOAM
