E4055 Cmd Rej: The E1PORT at the specified location is not equipped

An E1 interface must already be defined on the port specified by the e1port parameter before the chg/dlt/rtrv-e1 command can be entered.

For the ent-slk command, an E1 interface must be defined for the card at the location specified by the loc parameter before a signaling link can be assigned to the port.

Recovery

1. Display all E1 port and E1 card location information. Enter the rtrv-e1 command.
2. Define the E1 interface as necessary. Refer to the Database Administration - SS7 User's Guide for assistance.
3. Re-enter the command that generated this error message.
