E3095 Cmd Rej: LHOST/ALHOST location not found

The card location associated with the lhost and alhost parameters must already exist in the IP Link table and the associated signaling link must be activated.

Recovery

  1. Display the IP addresses for the existing host hames. Enter the rtrv-ip-host commande.
  2. Display the card locations for the host name and IP address. Enter the rtrv-ip-lnk command.
  3. If the card location for the local host IP address is not shown for the local host IP address in the output from Step 2, enter the chg-ip-lnk command to define the card location.
  4. Display the signaling links and ports assigned to the card. Enter the rtrv-slk command.
  5. Determine the status of the signaling links assigned to the host card. Enter the rept-stat-slk command.
  6. Provision the cards and activate the links as necessary. Refer to the Database Administration - IP7 User's Guide for assistance.
  7. Re-enter the ent/chg-assoc command that generated this error message.
