Default Scan Type for RF Receiving and PI (K68)

Use this screen to define the type of barcode that is available to scan for the following RF transactions:

RF Physical Inventory

RF PO Receipt Transaction

RF Store Transfer Receipt Transaction

RF Mass Transfer

RF Mass Putaway

Print Item Label UPC

Code field: Enter the type of barcode that is available to scan for certain RF transactions.

Valid values are:

SHORTSKU or blank

The system displays the Short SKU field on the RF screen. If you place your cursor in this field, you can scan the short SKU barcode on the RF Item Label to default the item and SKU to the screen.

Short SKU codes are defined in and validated against the SKU table.

UPC08

The system displays the UPC field on the RF screen. If you place your cursor in this field, you can scan a UPC barcode to default the item and SKU to the screen. The UPC scanned cannot be greater than 8 positions. Note: Include any leading zeros. For example, if the UPC code is 06012011, enter 06012011 and not 6012011.

UPC codes are defined in and validated against the Item UPC table; see Work with UPC Codes Screen.

UPC12

The system displays the UPC field on the RF screen. If you place your cursor in this field, you can scan a UPC barcode to default the item and SKU to the screen. The UPC scanned cannot be greater than 12 positions. Note: Include any leading zeros. For example, if the UPC code is 000006012011, enter 000006012011 and not 6012011.

UPC13

The system displays the UPC field on the RF screen. If you place your cursor in this field, you can scan a UPC barcode to default the item and SKU to the screen. The UPC scanned cannot be greater than 13 positions. Note: Include any leading zeros. For example, if the UPC code is 0000006012011, enter 0000006012011 and not 6012011.

UPC14

The system displays the UPC field on the RF screen. If you place your cursor in this field, you can scan a UPC barcode to default the item and SKU to the screen. The UPC scanned cannot be greater than 14 positions. Note: Include any leading zeros. For example, if the UPC code is 00000006012011, enter 00000006012011 and not 6012011.
