About Formula Validation

The formula expression is validated when you update any of the steps of the formula. The current validation status is shown in the Validation Status bar, which is a color bar in the Formula Builder. A green bar signifies the formula is valid while a red bar signifies that it is invalid.

A Validate button is available in the Formula Builder. If you click the button, then you are prompted with the line and place where the error occurs and a description of the error. This button is only enabled when a formula is invalid.
