Recovering from Truncated or Deleted Siebel Database Records

If records are truncated or deleted on the Siebel database, and if Siebel Remote sends these transactions to the remote clients, then you cannot modify or reverse this situation. Even if you restore the Siebel database the restoration causes a data mismatch and corruption.

To recover from truncated or deleted Siebel database records

  1. Restore the Siebel database to the time it failed.
  2. Reextract all users.

For more information, see Extracting the Server Database.
