Configuring the POS Settings

1. Click System Setup, and then click System Parameters.
2. Scroll to the Point of Sale Interface Settings section, and then select or enter the following details:

   • POS Version: Select the Simphony version.

   • Property Version: If you selected Simphony First Edition as the POS Version, enter the property ID number of the Simphony FE property that connects with Suites.

   • Revenue Center: Enter the revenue center (RVC) ID of the RVC that connects with Suites.

   • Workstation ID: If you selected Simphony First Edition as the POS Version, enter the Workstation ID of the POSAPI client that runs Suites.

   • Employee ID: If you selected Simphony as the POS Version, enter the employee ID of a workstation operator.

   • URL for Config. Web Service: Enter the URL for the Suites application server (for example, https://192.168.1.1:8001/SUITESSERVICE/Config9700Service.asmx).

   • URL for Trans. Services Web Service: Enter the URL of the workstation that communicates with Suites (for example, http://192.168.1.1:8080/EGateway/SimphonyPosApiWeb.asmx).

3. Click Save.
