This figure shows the components of the broker architecture. On the client side, the broker architecture features two user interfaces: the Oracle Enterprise Manager GUI and the Data Guard command-line interface (DGMGRL). On the server side, the figure shows the Data Guard monitor which is implemented through the Data Guard monitor (DMON) process and the Data Guard configuration file. These components are described in more detail in the following sections.
